Christmas Dinner Event 2013

Event Description

Join us as we serve thousands of people at our annual Christmas Dinner Event – the nation’s largest sit-down dinner for the homeless and hungry. During this event we provide critical services (at NO cost), ranging from basic personal care (i.e. hot showers, clothing, barber & salon services, etc.) to dinner, medical care, legal aid, employment opportunities, emergency transportation assistance, and much more! The minimum age to volunteer at this event is 12.

If the person that register gives their spot to someone else does it matter? Does the name on the pass have to match the id?

I just signed my family up to volunteer tomorrow.  How do we find out a time to volunteer? And do we have buy a shirt to help serve?

Comment by Thomas Martin on December 24, 2013 at 11:58am

Volunteer Department,
Seeing that people will bail, can we just show up?

Comment by HFTH Volunteer Department on December 24, 2013 at 11:30am

Please stop trying to give away shifts. Our policy is that of a first come - first serve basis. The only thing you can do is be responsible and send us a cancellation email, therefore we can take you off of your position, which will open up some newly available slots. Please be considerate of others and go about cancelling the right way. Thanks.
