Age Requirement

Guidelines for Children

We have ongoing volunteer opportunities for youth and adults who are 12 years in age and older. If you would like to bring a volunteer group of children that are under 12 years in age, please contact us for project approval. Each event has its own age restrictions.

Opportunities for Groups

From 3 People to 300 people

We'll email you a group volunteer link for you to forward to anyone you want to invite to volunteer with your group. You can access your groups social impact report that quantifies the impact your efforts have on the community.

Community Service

Tracking Volunteer Hours

Volunteers who register and attend any of our posted volunteer opportunities are eligible to receive credit for any service hours completed. Hours can be verified on timesheets given by appointing agencies, as well as on our official letterhead.

Providing over 10,000 volunteer opportunities annually.

Corporations, schools, civic organizations, churches, and individuals with court ordered community service hours can all find a volunteer home at Hosea Helps, where your social impact is clear, and your work is truly meaningful.

48 Hour Notice Required for Letters

The best way to obtain community service hours is to volunteer at our Care Center Tuesday through Saturdays. Whether 2 Hours in a day or 8 hours in a day, you can get your hours done at Hosea Helps. Click below to register for available opportunities.

Holiday Dinner Events

Best Practices for Volunteering

Individuals and groups that would like to volunteer at our Holiday Dinners or Special Events should check our volunteer opportunities calendar 3-4 weeks before the event. Note: We do not register volunteers several months before major events.
