Job Description
The individual in this position is required to assess families and individuals (clients) for program eligibility, provide them with all of the services they are eligible for, make referrals to other organizations for the services we don't provide, and maintain relationships with those clients. In fulfilling this responsibility, the person in this position will manage their own caseload, be responsible for upholding the accounting functions involved with providing families financial assistance, manage the databases required for proper data storage and reporting, represent the Human Services department off-site in any opportunity to solicit more clients, and participate in growing healthy relationships between Hosea Helps, our nonprofit partners and funding agencies. The individual in this position works daily properly implementing grant-funded programming and preserving the integrity of operational procedures and data management. This is individual travels everywhere Hosea Helps is providing services and is responsible for every step in the client experience.

I understand that the anticipated start date for this position is Friday, February 17th and I am able to start work on that date.
Agreement to Work Holidays

I understand that Hosea Helps serves the public on all major holidays and that I will be required to work these events. This includes, but is not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK Jr. Holiday, Easter and Labor Day. Hosea Helps compensates for this with paid days off following each holiday.
Agreement to Work Saturdays

I understand that the standard work week for this position is Tuesdays through Saturday, and occasionally Tuesday through Friday. I am committed to being able to work on Saturdays.
Agreement to Core Personal Requirements

I understand that the individual in this position must (1) have a valid Georgia Driver's License, (2) must have a smart phone, (3) must be able to consistently maintain professional attire and appearance.
Agreement to Physical Requirements of the Position
*
I understand that this position will occasionally require heavy lifting of the many types of items that move through the warehouse. This will include, but not be limited to, cases of food, cases of water, cases of frozen meat, furniture and event production equipment. I understand that many of the events Hosea Helps produces are held outdoors and that this position requires me to work outdoors in different climates throughout the year.

I understand that this position requires that I have my own vehicle. I understand that this position requires site visits to potential event locations, off-site meetings and training, and occasionally running errands for warehouse supplies and volunteer needs. I understand that there will be moments when members of my team all need to be in separate locations around the city at the same time, and that I am responsible for my own travel.
