Community
A low-income neighborhood or apartment can place an order for emergency food for their entire community. When we deliver food to that community those households will be able to check their eligibility to receive SNAP Benefits, WIC, Medicare, Medicaid, Rent or Mortgage Assistance, and Assistance with Utility Services.
Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, Colleges and Universities can place orders for emergency food for their low-income student body and receive a diverse set of options in how they can receive and distribute that food. Our team will deliver the requested food directly to each school with tools to track their success.
Nonprofits can register their organization and become eligible to receive food items in bulk, have access to meeting and event space, and the technology required to take their operations to the next level, and get invitations to be vendors at events where they complement the diversity of services being provided.
The Hosea Helps community has several really strong human services programs whose combined social impact not only reaches thousands of families who need help, but also provides opportunities to thousands of people who want to connect and make a difference. Throughout the year, we produce innovative human services programs that transform individual donations into a singular force against the suffering and instability experienced by families that have faced financial collapse.
We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities, and you’ll know the exact social impact of your time and energy. We have opportunities for individuals and groups, businesses and schools, churches and civic organizations. We can accommodate up to 250 people at one time. We’re also a great place to complete those community service hours. If you have a group and would like to impact a particular community or attack a particular problem, we can customize a volunteer opportunity that allows you to achieve that.
